I've got to say I love my rehearsal dinner dress and thanks to Boutique Mix, I could make it happen. When I chose the invitation fabric, I knew that I had to tie it into the wedding somehow.
For me there was no wedding theme. I focused on style details. And the style was elegant, ethnic chic. I wanted to use elements that could be styled cohesively from start to finish. One of my goals was showing off the versatility of the various style elements. And no, it was not lost on me that this was my wedding style portfolio for my wedding styling business. I had to make sure it was something clients will want to hire me to do and so far, I've lined up a few so I'm happy!
As I got further into planning details, I knew that I loved the fabric too much to just ignore it. So I decided to use it in the flowers for the bridesmaids and maid of honors, to wrap the smaller floral vases for the reception and to rock at my rehearsal dinner.
First up, were the invitations, which turned out great!

For the rehearsal dinner, I knew I wanted something long and a little glam that I could rock again. I don't own any assymetrical styles so I made this one and loved it. The dress style and fabric (other fabric options available) is available at Boutique Mix. Contact me at info@boutiquemix.com or boutique-mix@hotmail.com and I'll contact you for more details, including your measurement info, length of time, etc. All dresses are custom made to order.

And then came the bridal party bouquets, which I acessorized with brooches (the brooches doubled as one of the bridal party gifts).

I'll post photos of the flower vases once we get those photos.
