One of the steps to transitioning your side hustle into your full time job is quite simple. Preparation is a key cornerstone of success. Whether you have five business degrees or you've accumulated enough school of 'hard knocks' degrees to last a lifetime, you have to prepare to succeed.
Creating and building a new business is not the time to be impulsive. If you have been doing your side hustle for a while, its safe to say you've learned enough about it to make the leap. First up, decide whether that this is side hustle is truly something that you are excited and passsionate about.
Next, figure out whether there is really a need for whatever goods and/or services that you plan on offering. Ask yourself why you're tranistioning this side hustle into a full-time gig. Is it because you're mad at your boss? Tired of your long commute or is it because you truly believe you have something to offer? Evaluate your decision wisely.
Articulate your goals. Having a business degree is not essential to achieving your transition goals. In fact, your inherent ability to channel your passion, determination, perseverance and dedication will go a long way to helping you achieve your goals. The best way of formulating your goals is to start by writing them out and reading them out loud to yourself. Be consise and realistic.
Turning your side hustle into a major income stream takes work, time and sometimes, significant financial resources. Do not do anything drastic until you've set up a clear map of your goals and how you plan to achieve them, or at an idea of what exactly you plan to do.
